Timetabling Solutions V10.1 is a separate application to V9 and can be installed on the same machine.
V10.1 uses a different file format to V9.
- Student Options data files have the extension sfx
- Timetable Development files have the extension tfx
Convert V9 data to V10.1 format by clicking File | Convert Data to V10 format located on the V10.1 Welcome Page
Notes on V10.1
1. An internet connection is required to sign in to V10.1 desktop application
2. A user account with the role 'Timetabler' is required to operate V10.1
3. V10.1 supports Single Sign-On and Two Factor Authentication
4. With no user signed in, V10.1 can open and view data files, print and export. Changes to data will not be saved
5. Your school has unlimited installations for V10.1 (excluding enterprise client, user limits may apply)
6. You can install V10.1 on a Windows (10 & 11) machine that has V9 as they operate independently of each other. Convert V9 data to V10 format from the V10.1 File menu
7. V10.1 includes the desktop modules Student Options and Timetable Development
8. Daily Organiser is a multi-user cloud app hosted by Timetabling Solutions using Microsoft Azure, located in Australia, South East Data Centre. Access to Daily Organiser is included with your current subscription
9. Assign users the role 'Daily Organiser' to access this app using the same credentials they use for the V10.1 desktop application.
10. V10.1 can publish timetables to the V9 Daily Organiser desktop application
11. General Access and TimetableFind are retired.
12. Your subscription may include access to the hosted cloud apps Staff & Student Portals that provide read-only access to personalised timetable information published from the Daily Organiser cloud app.
